Sunday Notes

I have way too many notebooks for my own good. For many years now I have kept notes on my Sunday meetings and church conferences. This year I dedicated a completely separate notebook to keep all these things so I can treasure them in my heart. Imagine my surprise when I was reading in the book "Preach My Gospel" this weekend and I found a talk where one of the apostles of the Lord here on Earth now, suggested such a treasured book.

Elder Richard G. Scott: "Knowledge carefully recorded is knowledge available in time of need. Spiritually sensitive information should be kept in a sacred place that communicates to the Lord how you treasure it. This practice enhances the likelihood of your receiving further light." Acquiring Spiritual Knowledge,"" Ensign, Nov. 1993, p.86.

I share my pages here with hope that my lessons might touch your life and help you.

It is really hard to believe we have been out on our mission for 5 weeks. By out, I mean in Springfield. I can see it's going to fly by. This weekend was special. We were able to attend another baptism this weekend, but this time it was family. Callie and Scott Winters (Jeff's sister) have a daughter out here in Berryville, Arkansas. They came to visit them and we got to meet up with them. We attended church today, which happened to be their Stake Conference for Rogers, Arkansas. The talks were amazing. Each and everyone had a distinct message. And Each Message felt as if it were for me and my spirit. Attached are the highlights that I learned from the talks. Maybe you will find something for you too.
